Description
Custom CNC machined equipment housing
This drawing-based equipment housing combines pockets, bores, openings and features on multiple faces. It is a custom component for integration into an equipment assembly; dimensions, interfaces and acceptance requirements are defined by the approved customer drawing.
Features to review before machining
- Pockets and openings: identify internal clearances, access requirements, corner radii and wall thicknesses.
- Bores and mating faces: specify fit requirements, datum references and the relationships between critical features.
- Multi-face features: highlight hole positions, threads and alignment requirements that must be maintained between setups.
Material, finish and inspection requirements
Send the required material grade and surface finish with your drawing. Mark critical dimensions and tell us whether material documentation or a dimensional inspection report is required. Material choice, achievable tolerances and the inspection scope are confirmed during quotation; the photographs do not define a standard specification.
Request a housing quotation
Include a dimensioned drawing, a 3D model if available, quantity, drawing revision, finish, critical tolerances and delivery destination. Note any mating components or assembly constraints that affect the housing.
