VANTECH / Drawing-Based CNC Machining
Custom CNC Machined Brackets & Mounts
VANTECH offers drawing-based CNC machining for custom brackets, mounts and support components. Our portfolio includes angle brackets, slotted brackets and parts with bored mounting features.
A bracket connects parts of an assembly. Hole positions, mounting-face relationships and access for fasteners can all affect that connection. Send your drawing with these functional requirements identified.
Component Examples
Compact Angle Brackets
Perpendicular mounting faces with drilled holes and elongated openings.
Slotted Pivot Brackets
A slotted upright face, a circular side opening and a radiused base.
Center-Bore Angle Brackets
An upright face with a central bore and a drilled mounting foot.
Examples illustrate component geometry. Material, dimensions, tolerances and finish are specified for each project.
Details That Matter for Your Bracket
Mounting geometry
Identify the mounting faces, hole pattern and any required angular or perpendicularity controls.
Adjustment & clearance
Specify slot width, slot length, adjustment travel and clearance around fasteners or nearby components.
Fits & assembly
Define locating bores, threads and mating-part fits. Include an assembly reference when it helps explain the requirement.
Bracket & Mount Project Details
| Component type | Custom angle brackets, slotted supports, mounting components and related machined parts. |
|---|---|
| Machined features | Mounting faces, slots, profiles, holes, bores and threaded features according to the drawing. |
| Material | Provide the required material grade and any finish or environmental requirements for review. |
| Dimensions & tolerances | Specified by the drawing. Clearly identify hole positions, face relationships and critical fits. |
| Surface & edges | Specify surface finish, visible faces, edge breaks and any areas that must remain free of coating. |
| Quantity & delivery | State the quantities for each bracket variant and your required delivery date. |
Make Assembly Requirements Clear
For a bracket used in equipment, a fixture or a mounting assembly, show how the part interfaces with neighboring components. Identify functional faces and critical dimensions. Load capacity and structural suitability must be defined by the part design; they cannot be established from a product photograph.
Keep Related Variants Clearly Identified
For left-hand and right-hand brackets or similar mounting variants, provide a separate part number, drawing revision and quantity for each item. If certain holes or surfaces need inspection records, include that requirement in the inquiry.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you review a bracket made to my own drawing?
Yes. Send the drawing, material grade, quantity and required finish. Highlight the features that control assembly fit so they can be reviewed before quotation.
Can I request slots instead of round holes?
Show the required slot geometry and position in your drawing. Include the adjustment travel and fastener clearance needed for the assembly.
Can I order left-hand and right-hand versions?
Submit both versions with clear part numbers, drawing revisions and quantities. Similar appearance does not always mean identical machining requirements.
How should I specify a critical mounting face?
Mark the relevant datum and tolerance on the drawing. Explain which mating component or assembly feature it controls, and include any inspection requirements.
Request a Quote for Your Bracket or Mount
Send your bracket drawing and assembly requirements to start a project review.
For a useful quotation, please include:
- Part drawing and revision; a 3D model if available.
- Required material and grade.
- Quantity for each part or variant.
- Critical dimensions, tolerances and inspection requirements.
- Surface finish and appearance requirements.
- Required delivery date and destination.
